Unlike other cast hangers, our curl hanger does not require a screw to secure the gutter to the hanger. The screw prohibits the gutter from expanding and contracting. As the gutter tries to expand and contract, unwanted torque is transmitted to the hangers. Because our hanger does not require the use of a screw, the gutter is allowed to expand and contract unimpeded as the temperature changes.
