Stainless Steel is used to avoid the reaction between two dissimiliar metals (electrolysis). Our stainless steel screws are the preferred fasteners for copper and lead coated copper gutter applications.
The 1/4" x 3/8" screws are for fastening downspouts together. The 5/16" x 1" screws are used for installing the copper and brass fascia hangers.
